Orange Top Diner

  • Orange Top Diner on Urbanspoon

One of our annual traditions is a visit to the Orange Top Diner in Tuxedo, NY.  We stop there for breakfast on our way to the Renaissance Faire.  The place feels very retro -- we've been going there for decades and the decor has never been updated.  But it's conveniently located bad reasonably priced.  Service is friendly and efficient.

They offer the usual breakfast items -- eggs, omelets, pancakes, French toast.   Generous but not outrageous portions of food.

This time around I had chocolate chip pancakes -- very light and fluffy.  Bacon was crispy good.

Of course, other diners spotted us as Faire attendees.  Don't be surprised if you see knights and ladies at table in the summer.

We always enjoy our meal.  That's why we keep coming back.
