the end of an era
the other night I had dinner with a friend at Cheesecake Factory in The Source Mall. afterwards we wandered into Fortunoff's to check out the sales -- the store is in bankruptcy and liquidating its merchandise. that store is a landmark. back in the 80's it was my go-to storeevery time I had to buy a bridal shower gift. my ex and I did the bridal registry there. and their kitchen gadget department was the best. it's truly sad to see it go...
