I've got them...bad. Can't stand this cold, icy weather much longer. Can't stand that it gets dark in the middle of the afternoon. Can't stand worrying about the next snowstorm, the next icy patch on the sidewalk, the bitter wind whipping through the trees. Can't stand being cooped up inside. Can't stand the cold air sucking all the moisture out of my skin. Can't stand my "winter lips" anymore, even though I've used tons of chapstick. Can't stand it, I tell you. We're only halfway through january and I'm beginning to wonder if spring will ever arrive. Old man winter, GO AWAY!!! SCAT!!! VAMOOSE!!!

don't let my smile fool you, I am HATING this winter weather! normally our winters on Long Island are relatively mild, maybe a week or two of extremely cold weather, maybe one or two snow storms. this year we've been hit with one storm after another after another. and I am sick of it! you have no idea how miserable I am right now.

It's cold, it's snowy, it's miserable. The excitement of holidays is over. the doledrums have set in. trying to find something interesting and exciting to motivate myself.

so Becca went to the party after her boyfriend went home. so I had to wait for both of them to come home. it's going to be a loooong winter.
