Hidrate Spark 2.0

So, do you need a smart water bottle?  Of course not.  There are lots of free apps to help you track your water intake, and some f them are even compatible with fitness apps like Fitbit.  A smart water bottle is admittedly an indulgence.

Hidrate Spark 2.0 Smart Water Bottle.

The bottle has a sensor that measures how much water you drink.  The bottle can be set to glow when you need to drink and/or when you have reached your water intake goal.  You can set your own goal or allow the app to calculate a goal based on your weight, etc.  If you allow the app to access your location, your goal will change depending on the weather.

It took a bit of effort to set the bottle up, more so to change the battery, but now it works well.  It's fun to use, and I bought mine in purple, my favorite color.

I am drinking more water and less diet soda.

And yes, it talks to Fitbit.

  1. I like to knit things for my water bottles. (Yes, I have a couple of them. They're not smart, though.)
