Hunkered down

It’s called a “bomb cyclone”, a winter storm with hurricane force winds.  And with it, lots of snow.

Yesterday my boss told us to take our laptops home, to plan to work from home today.

By late afternoon most of the schools made the decision to close today.

Last night Drew and Marc prepped the new snow blower for its inaugural run.

And so my laptop and I headed to Drew’s house.  I’ll be spending today warm and cozy in his den.

  1. I love Snow but being in Fort Worth, Texas we don't see much of it. Although my VA texted me to let me know she is expecting a Blizzard so I asked her to send me some snow. Just incase she doesn't would you?

  2. I'm near Boston, and we're having the same storm. A number of people in my area have said they're hearing thunder! And right now, I can't even see the houses on the next street through the blowing snow.

  3. The Mommies Reviews, I’d love to send some of this white stuff your way. And Kim, we are gearing the thunder here on Long Island, too

  4. Snow is one reason I live in Texas. Hate being cold. We have summers from hell but I can always take a cold shower, drink something cold and cool off. Sometimes it's hard to get or stay warm. Keep all your white stuff up there. Please!!! :-)

  5. Oh, is that what that means? I kept seeing the term all over the place, but I hadn't slowed down enough to look for a definition. Hope you're staying warm and safe.
