Vaccine

I’m getting my COVID booster shot later today.  Got my flu shot at my doctor’s office a couple of weeks ago, but I have to go to a pharmacy for the COVID vaccine.

Funny how the COVID vaccine has become part of our routine health care.

Could you ever have imagined that in the dark days of 2020?

  1. I hope the shot went well. I was told to take Tylenol before the shot as some people were experiencing more aches and pains from this year's formulation. Of course, by the time my appointment rolled around, I had forgotten. I didn't turn out to have needed it, though.

  2. I had the 'flu, COVID, and RSV at the pharmacy, all the same day! RSV in one arm alone, since it was a new one, and I could tell if it reacted. I did have one day of aches (normal arm pain), tiredness, and a 99.5 fever. But, just one day, and it won't stop me from doing it all again next year! Maybe the RSV was a one time thing.

  3. I never got the RSV shot; in fact my primary never even mentioned it when my spouse saw him last month. I hope your shots go well. I got my senior flu and COVID shots two weeks apart and both went well. I was told by the pharmacy (before the COVID shot) to drink plenty of water beforehand and also take Tylenol right after.
