Music Monday

Today we salute Guardians of The Galaxy, the awesome mix tapes...

From volume one:

Spirit in the Sky

Hooked on a Feeling (we used to call it the "ooga chaka song")

And it time to Escape

Moving on the volume two...

A little Fox on the Run.

It's time to Surrender.

We have to include Glen Campbell

And let's close it out with Fleetwood Mac

We won't see the third movie until May 2021...I'm dying here....

  1. All songs I remember, and one I really love ("The Chain") thinking of Stevie Nicks being inducted into the Hall of Fame and listening to this live. And now the voting has begun for the 2019 nominees. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com

  7. Whoa! Spirit in the Sky to start out with... totally awesome! "Ooga chaka song"! OMG, I haven't heard that song in forever... I love it! Escape... OMG, I think you have all my oldies that use to be on tape in my car and I'd be singin' in the car to the tape! Wow, those were the times! "Escape", a total singing tune! "Escape" nope, can't say I've heard that one before! Well, maybe I have... Ohhhhhhh "Fox on the Run" that's different... yep, I might have heard that one! Okay, totally "Surrender" by Cheap Trick.. hubby's band used to play that one! Cool tune! Okay, now I have to draw the line somewhere. hehe, Glen Campbell, he was okay, but not my cup of tea. Whew! Last, but not least my favorite, "Fleetwood Mac", and great tune... "...dam your love, dam your lies"! WOW, Awesome song! Thanks, girlfriend... YOU HAVE TOTALLY ROCKED THE HOUSE MORESON THAN ANYONE TODAY! HAVE A GREAT WEEK!!!

  9. I've always loved Hooked on a Feeling - I used to call it the "ooga chaka song", too! I got hooked on it when it was playing during Ally McBeal. :) Great song choices all around! Thanks for the dance! :)
