Sunday afternoon baking.
Gluten free white bread. Not bad. You’ll never mistake it for regular bread, but it’s better than a lot of the gluten free breads I’ve bought,
The recipe called for egg whites,
So what to do with the yolks?
Gluten free cookies … I didn’t anticipate how much they would spread.
But they do taste good. So I’ll know to use two cookie sheets next time.
Maybe your cats would like cooked yolks? Or, crumble them up for the birds? I remember a neighbor fed his parakeet hard boiled yolks on occasion.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was making ice cream, I used a recipe that needed more egg yolks than egg whites. It was for "premium" ice cream. Very labor intensive, though.
