Music Monday

Another “your choice” week, and so I return to my favorite subject …Mr. William Martin Joel

I think I’ve become even more obsessed with him since moving to Hicksville.  His childhood home is about a mile from my house.

Let’s steer clear of the big hits and focus on lesser-known songs

  3. Billy Joel is one of the premier entertainers of his day and his day had several great keyboard players. He ranks with Stevie Wonder, Elton John, and Leon Russell. All were master musicians and entertainers. Great playlist.

  5. What a great list of songs that didn't make the top. I enjoyed them all.

  6. I didn't know a handful of the songs. They were all good. Not sure if it's possible for Billy Joel to create anything that's bad. He's a national treasure. Wishing Joel a belated 75th birthday.
