Stolen from Daily Good

1) What teacher are you most thankful for and why?  What

did you learn from him or her?

10th grade Social Studies -- European History.  Mr. S had us conduct the trial of Napoleon Bonaparte

for crimes  against the people of France. And I was one of the defense attorneys.  Shades of future

career?  Well, all theseyears later, I am an attorney...

2) What’s the season you’re most thankful for, and what’s your favorite part of each season?

I am thankful for the change of seasons, because each season brings its own special times.  Well,

except for winter, I could do without the cold and the snow.

3) What electronic device are you most grateful for, and what does it add to your life?

My Ipad.

4) What musician or type of music are you most thankful for?

Please don't ask me to choose.

5) What are you most grateful for that brings beauty to your daily life?

I have artificial flowers in a vase on my kitchen table.

6) What philanthropic cause or organization do you feel thankful for?

The American Cancer Society.  They helped me so much when I was sick back in 2005.

7) What foods are you most thankful for?

I am thankful I get to eat a variety of foods from many different cuisines.

8) What local store or restaurant are you most grateful for?  How does it contribute to your quality of life?

There's a kosher-style deli in the neighborhood.  He makes a lot of Jewish delicacies.  The foods my

grandmother used to cook.  Sweet memories in every bite.

So many books...I can't pick just one.

10) What act of kindness has made the greatest difference in your life?

I will have to think about that...

11) What challenging experience has ended up changing your life for the better?

I'd say surviving cancer changes your whole perspective on life.

12) What vacation are you most grateful for?

The one I am planning.  Seriously, that's the answer.  The anticipation is wonderful.

Right now we are planning a Caribbean cruise for December 2022.

13) Name three days in your life that you feel especially grateful for.

I am grateful I am alive every single day.   But if I have to choose three days...the day I married Drew,

even though we ended up divorced and then reconciled.  The day Jen was born.  The day

Becca was born.

14) What product do you use on a daily basis that you most appreciate?

My coffee pot and Dunkin' K Cups.

15) What, from this year, do you feel most grateful for?

Pfizer and its wonderful, pandemic-fighting vaccine.

  1. I really hate winter but I tried to find the one thing that doesn't make me miserable. ;)

  2. Isn't it wonderful to have a vaccine for Covid? Surviving illness does change your perspective. How can it not?

  3. I had the Moderna vaccine, but I am glad I got vaccinated. My husband did not get vaccinated and a couple of weeks ago, he got covid. My son and I did not because we were vaccinated. It seems I hear all of the stories about the vaccinated getting covid, but not the ones that were spared. I need to get the booster now. Loved your answers. Have a nice day!

  6. There is a deli called Canters in Los Angeles that we have been to a few times and they have great food and desserts. I always get the Matza Ball soup. We got the Moderna and am thankful for that. It lets us be around our grands without the fear of getting really sick.

  7. #15 - I've had 3 Pfizers now so I am completely vaxed up. I marvel at their ingenuity (and Moderna/Astra Zenica too).

    :o)
