Golden Express redux

Still loving their lunch specials.

On a recent visit I chose Szechuan beef, and added an egg roll instead of my usual can of soda.

The egg roll was pretty standard.  Crispy outside, lots of veggies and a little pork inside.

The beef dish was amazing.  Tender slices of beef and a nice assortment of vegetables (pea pods, onions, carrots, peppers, water chestnuts) in a red sauce.  Billed as "hot and spicy", the sauce had just enough "kick" to create a bit of an afterburn without being overwhelming.  Perfect for someone who likes things just a bit spicy.  Menu says they can adjust the level of spice, since they cook your dish to order.

Hot and spicy baby shrimp was a bit of a disappointment.  Tasted great, but not enough shrimp -- it was more of a vegetable dish with a few shrimp thrown in for flavor,

Parking lot is still a royal pain, but I'm glad I found this place.
