I didn't know the Beach Boys did a cover of California Dreaming. Interesting! Love the sax. Kokomo always has me dreaming of an island vacation, somewhere. ☺ It was in the 1988 movie Cocktail, starring Tom Cruise. Thanks for the beachy vibes today!
"Pet Sounds" left me cold. I bought and listened to it when one of my other Internet friends insisted that it was better than "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band," and I was not impressed.
"Sloop John B" is an olde folk song. My aunts used to sing it all the time. Drove me nuts...
On a cold day such as today, The Beach Boys sure do make me think warm days at the beach. Sorry to be slow to visit today, I'm just running a bit behind :)
