weeping for our planet, weeping for our future

The United States is sinking into the muck.  We have now joined Syria and Nicaragua as the only countries not concerned about our environment.  We have abandoned our allies.  We have handed the reins to China.

  2. One of my facebook friends wish him dead. no actual that would be to nice for him. I wish him 20 years in federal prison, which he deserves mostly treason.
    I shake my head and I know people who think he doing a great job...He one scary person.

  3. Actually, I am not as upset, 24 hours after that speech, as I was initially. I think (thinking worldwide here) it is going to spur a number of countries to be even more dedicated to the truth that we must pay serious attention to global warming. No longer should they look to the United States; they need to take their own action. And they will Good for the Earth. Bad (sigh) for us, not that I wish any ill on our country. But we are going to be left behind. How ironic! Stateside, good to know that my native New York is joining with a couple of other states, including California, to keep trying to move us forward.
