And still more this and that
Mets vs Cubs Sunday afternoon, and the game was on Roku TV, with Mets announcer Gary Cohen going the play by play and former Yankees manager Joe Girardi doing the commentary. Weird …
Mets won! Final score 6-2.
My Mother’s Day flowers.
And yes I got a card from the cats…
Finally got to try these … the lime taste is very strong, but if I dip the chips in salsa…very nice.
I took a walk, a Sunday stroll. I was going to say “not a cloud in the sky” until I saw this
Those tiny puffs count as clouds, I guess.
I wasn’t the only one walking. And people were in their yards, either relaxing or doing yard work. And lots of kids were in the park.
Anyhow, something interesting is popping up on local lawns. Our school district holds graduation ceremonies for elementary and middle school as well as high school. Graduates from all three schools put signs on their lawns proclaiming themselves to be class of 2025. Our school year doesn’t end until the last week of June (school year doesn’t start until after Labor Day), but the lawn signs are already starting to appear.
It’s already starting to feel like summer.
It will be an interesting series this coming weekend - my Mets fan spouse is looking forward to it (and, forgive us, seeing Aaron Judge in action)
ReplyDeleteYeah, those lawn signs (that seem to have started in 2020 for obvious reasons) seem to be here to stay. I see them all over here, too.
ReplyDeleteI haven't notice any class signs, yet.
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect card for you! My neighborhood only had the signs during COVID when there were no in person graduation ceremonies.
