And still more ramblings
The weather was nice yesterday, so after work I went outside to rake the lawn. Shadow sat in the window, watching me the whole time. I’m starting to see improvement. It doesn’t need to look golf course perfect, but I’d like it to look decent, not an embarrassing mess.
And after my gardening efforts I went into the kitchen. I made asparagus in the air fryer (I love my air fryer) and gluten free brownies (from a mix).
That unholy yowl you heard last night …that was Shadow when I accidentally stepped on her paw. She forgave me, of course, and sat with me while I was watching Survivor. (Yeah, mind candy.)
All blissfully normal.
Meanwhile, down in Florida …
Our friend’s mother died Tuesday night.
I'm so sorry for your friend. Having just gone through that myself, I know how trying a time this can be. Sad your trip was postponed, but clearly that was necessary.
