#skywatchfriday — the first snowfall of the winter
Yes, I know, winter doesn’t technically begin until the solstice next week. So let’s call it the first snowfall of the season. It was Saturday, and we stayed cozy and warm inside.
What was the lyric? Oh, yes. “It was late in December, the sky turned to snow. All around the day was going down slow.”
that's the kind of weather when it is pleasure to stay warm and cozy inside. with some hot beverage.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a nice first snow of the season. Not too much, just a light dusting.
ReplyDeleteThat type of snow I call Oreo snow. Sometimes, when it gets down to near zero, it becomes so crunchy, and you can sometimes smell sweetness in the air. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
