I scratch my head at one hit wonders-there are so many of them out there, and enough of them are so good - so why were these one hit onlies? But I have one question. Didn't Manfred Mann also do Do Wha Diddy Diddy? I loved both that and Blinded by the Light. I also loved Please Come to Boston when it first came out; I haven't heard it in many years.
All of these except "My Sharona" and maybe "Blinded By The Light" are Yacht Rock faves...
