1. When do you feel the world will stop?

I don't think I want to know the answer to that one...

2. What is your personal motto?

Let it go.

And by that I mean "don't sweat the small stuff".

3. What is the greatest gift you ever received?

Life itself.

4. Who is a leader who inspires you?

Ruth Bader Ginsberg.

5. What irrationally annoys you more than anything else?

I'm a terrible passenger, if I'm not driving I am gritting my teeth...

6. What small thing can always bring you a bit of joy?

Miss Duchess Cat.

7. What is your favorite thing to do on a lazy day?

My iPad has all my favorite distractions.  I can sit around all day with the IPad and keep myself amused.

8. How often do you take risks?

I'm really not much of a risk taker.

9. Write about your happiest memories.

Lots of happy memories, I will just share one.  This is a picture of my daughters when they were little.

10. How long do you think it will be before we see a female president?

I think Kamala Harris will become President by succeeding Joe Biden (hopefully after he's served two full terms), so sometime between now and 2028.

11. Do you think it’s important to be part of a community?  Why? Why not?

Yes, it's important to be part of a community. In good times and in bad times, your community is there for you.

I will never forget when there was a shooting at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh. October 2018.  I felt so scared and so alone.  But then we gathered in my synagogue, 2,000 of us, a vigil sponsored by all the local synagogues.  We came together to pray, to memorialize the victims, to reaffirm our commitment to each other.  And I was no longer afraid.

12. What piece of modern technology are you most grateful to have.

LOL, as if you hadn't guessed ...my iPad...

13. Do you feel anonymous on line?

No.  It's too easy to find out who people really are, so even if you don't use your real name you are not anonymous.

14. What is something you’ve always wanted to try but have never gotten around to.

Hmmm....what's on the bucket list?  I think it has something to do with travel.  I'd like to go to Israel.

15. What would life be like without the internet?

Like it was before the internet, only we'd feel the lack.

Comments

  1. thanks for reminding me of RBG! yes, so inspirational. I was telling dh the other day, after listening to a smart female congress critter that strong women are still expected by stupid men to be soft, and quiet and complacent instead of honest and hard hitting. grr.

  3. RBG is a great choice. I think we'd get used to the lack of the Internet. Maybe the Internet without Facebook and Twitter?

  6. Just looking at Miss Duchess Cat made me smile. I have a cat beside me every time I begin to use my laptop. I can't imagine getting through quarantine and work-from-home without them.
