 Shiner update

Barely noticeable.  The joy of cosmetics.

Did I mention that I also had two stitches?  Right next to my eye brow.  I did the Veronica Lake thing with my hair, so you didn’t see the gash, but now the stitches are out and I feel so much better.

What happens when there’s snow on the ground and then it rains?  FOG. That’s how my Monday began, driving in fog. 

First day frustration… my computer equipment did not arrive as scheduled, I had to wait for it ….the laptop didn’t show up until 4:00.  No work got done.   But I do think I’m going to like this job.

With nothing on TV these days, we’ve been watching old movies.  The other day we saw That Touch of Mink, a very dated sex comedy starring Doris Day and Cary Grant.   What was cutting edge in 1962 seems quaint now.  But I really loved this scene.

Yes, I’m a baseball fan.

We also watched The Fisher King (very weird movie) and Fitzwilly (can you believe Dick van Dyke is 100 years old?)

Drew already decorated the living room for our New Year’s celebration.  I think he’s looking forward to it.

The winds had really been howling lately.
