Music Monday — an evening with the oldies part 2

So  yesterday’s post was all about our evening in NYC, about the show we saw with Felix Cavalieri’s Rascals and Micky Dolenz of the Monkees.  So today let’s hear from The Rascals and The Monkees.

Let’s start with The Rascals.

  1. Another of the great concerts you go to, and it's been a long time since I've heard any Rascals song. Enjoyed your set, especially your live recording of "What A Beautiful Morning". It was slower than the single, but aren't we all a bit slower than we used to be? Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com

    1. True, we’re all a bit slower. But Felix can still move. He was living his time on the stage, interacting with the audience.

  2. Robin,
I didn't realize until today just how many of The Young Rascals' songs I knew. There's nothing like the oldies to make you feel good! Felix still sounds awesome. I love it when musicians keep playing music!
