I never thought....
... that I could walk into the bank or the post office with a mask on my face and be able to walk out of there without a police escort.
... that the line to get into the supermarket on a Wednesday afternoon would be longer than the line for the Apple Store the day a new iPhone is released.
... that I'd have to go to multiple stores to find basic necessities like toilet paper, paper towels and Tylenol.
... that the pharmacy would offer appointments to pick up a prescription at the drive-through.
... that I'd miss the commute on the Long Island Railroad ... well, I don't really miss the commute, I just miss the normalcy that the commute represents...

Strange times, indeed.
ReplyDeleteRobin,
ReplyDeleteIt's very crazy! We all want life to go back to normal and even when we do, I think we'll all have reservations. Is it safe? Will it happen again? But, I have to wonder will people revert to their lax behavior of cross contamination everything after touching public surfaces and will people cover a cough/sneeze and will they continue to walk through a torpedo (cough/sneeze)? We should respect what we do not see and always think is there a deadly pathogen waiting for host? Oh well...let's see what happens in the new norm. Do stay well, my dear! xx
