So here goes:

And then:

This last one is a children's song.  My family sings it at every birthday.  My sisters are convinced that my dad and my aunts wrote it.

Dolly has also asked that we choose a song whose title begins with the same letter as our name.

  1. Sir Paul rocks! I have loved the Beatles/Paul McCartney Birthday song since the very first time I heard it at a Sweet 16 party (probably not long after it came out). Being introduced to new birthday songs may be my theme for today - including Jimmy Buffet. Have a great week, Songbird. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com

  2. Ahh, you have the same name as my DH!! That's so cool!! :) Marie is gonna love your song picks. I bet you'll have her doing a little chair boogie if she has the energy and I sure hope she does after being sick. Bobby Day, "Rockin' Robin' is a great song and perhaps my favorite of your picks. DH used J5's cover to close each night when he DJed for the summers. Have a boogietastic week, my furriend!

  4. Nice set! Martina McBride and Jimmy Buffett worked well together on "Trip Around The Sun."

  5. Always love the music of Paul and the Beatles. And it was nice to hear "Rockin' Robin" again, it has been a while!
