More ramblings

So while we were away a “miracle’ happened — that ugly pool and deck are gone! But there’s a huge pile of dirt on the driveway, fill for the hole where the pool used to be. I don’t know why the landlord wanted to do the work while we were away, but I’m glad to see the progress. The yard will be nice when we have our Memorial Day barbecue.

But the work is coming along nicely, isn’t it?  We are going to have a great yard.

So now we are home and getting back into the routine.  Sigh.  I like my job, but … 

At least I can get back to my exercise routine.  I actually missed the activity.

So the town has put building permits for McMansions on hold while they consider a change to the zoning laws. Things are getting interesting.

I just happy about our yard …
