Ramblings

 We still don’t know why Drew was denied TSA pre check at JFK, but he didn’t have any problems leaving Tampa. 

I must say I really like flying JetBlue.  The TV screen, the in flight internet access, the flight was short and  sweet. Though I was annoyed when I was watching an NBC News Special Report about the White House Correspondents Dinner so that the flight attendant could try and sell us on the JetBlue credit card.

I hated leaving Florida, our visit with our friends was far too short.  And I am already missing the Florida sunshine.

The trip was bittersweet.  We had a great time with our friends from Tampa. But our friend in Boynton Beach is not doing well.  It was sad to see how old and frail he has become. His wife has become his caretaker.

Of course, I ate too much and didn’t do any real exercise during the trip.  So I’m a bit anxious to get back into my routine. My Fitbit has not been happy. 

Unpacking at home just doesn’t have the same excitement as unpacking away from home. And when you get home there are chores …
