More ramblings

Make it make sense.  I have a credit card that will expire May 31.  Last week I got an email indicating my new card had been mailed.  A few days later I got an email telling me to activate the new card.  But the card never arrived!  I called the company —the new card hasn’t even been printed yet, and won’t be mailed until the first week of May.

Wegovy problem resolved, manufacturer’s coupon makes the drug affordable. What a relief.

But now I have another issue.  Remember three years ago, I wrote this?  I take medication for a relatively minor condition.  Three years ago I had to switch which medication I took because the insurance company refused to pay for the one my doctor preferred.  Well, my current insurer won’t pay for the one he prescribed in 2022, so I’m going to have to switch things up again.

For me this is a minor inconvenience.  But can you imagine if it were life saving treatment?

No wonder Luigi Mangione is a folk hero.  Not that I condone murder, but I think we all understand his motivation.

Somehow hearing a plane fly over the house hits differently when you realize you’re about to head to the airport.

Now we just have to figure out what went wrong with Drew’s TSA Pre- check. He has to go through the regular TSA line. Guess we’ll have to fix it after we get to Tampa.

  1. Yeah, I totally understand the Mangione fawning. He had the right motivation, he just expressed his anger in the wrong way.
