Weekend walk

 So I thought I’d show you something.

Remember how, in Scenes From an Italian Restaurant, Billy Joel sings “You remember those days hanging out at the Village Green”?  Well, here’s the Village Green he was talking about.

The pool:

The playground … and in the background, where the cars are parked, is the back of  the strip mall. The stores face Newbridge Road, a main thoroughfare.

Irish ☘️ Pride is evident in this neighborhood.

Still trying to figure out what that thing on the porch really is.

Then, Sunday.

The planes, of course.  That last one looks like it’s flying through the tree.

St.Patrick’s Day is coming.

I found a house that was built in 1881.

This one is more modern but I like the porch.

And this last photo … I know the wind has been brutal, but …
