  1. Very nice tribute, containing my favorite Pointer Sisters songs. I would have posted a tribute except that I prewrote today's post and didn't want to disturb it. Happy someone posted a tribute. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com

  3. Great tribute to Anita Pointer, and you picked some of my favorites. I had forgotten about "Neutron Dance"!

  4. A wonderful tribute to someone gone too soon. I had no idea they had that many hits and I danced to everyone of these back in the day.

  5. Robin,

Happy New Year, my friend! I missed the news of Anita Pointer passing the last day of 2022. The music industry lost some great names. Thankfully generations for years to come can enjoy the hits these stars produced. You featured some of the bands' biggest and most recognizable hits. Every time I hear their stuff I always think of the Bill Hills Cop films with Eddie Murphy. The 80s was a great decade for great entertainment! Thanks for joining the dance party. Have a boogietastic week, darlin'!
