I'm talking baseball...
July 23....Washington Nationals host the NY Yankees to kick off the season...the Mets start their season hosting the Braves on July 24 ...
60 games in 66 days...the Mets will play the Braves, the Red Sox, the Nationals, the Marlins, the Phillies, the Orioles, the Blue Jays, the Rays, and (of course) the Yankees. The Yankees will play the Nationals, the Phillies, the Red Sox, the Orioles, the Rays, the Braves, the Blue Jays, the Marlins, and (obviously) the Mets. In other words, just for this year, the Mets and Yankees are in the same league/division...
Sigh...
We won't see this:
Or this:
But at least we will have baseball.
So they'll have the games, but no fans? That sucks...

DeleteMy husband and sister in law can't wait, though (they are the Mets fans of his family - I gave up years ago) so tired of seeing those reruns on our Spectrum sports channel. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
