Ramblings
I went to the supermarket Saturday morning, and when I came home, Shadow had to inspect the contents of each bag.
We try not to run out of anything … we keep the pantry properly stocked …but the two things we must never run out of are cat food and (more importantly) kitty litter. Can you imagine the disaster that would be? Our furry overlords would be so upset …
Today I bought honey crisp apples and Bartlett pears, as well as some vegetables and salad greens.
I buy far too much produce, it goes bad before I can use it all and I end up throwing some of it out …
I bought a lot of pantry staples on Saturday, but I couldn’t get the gluten free teriyaki sauce. That store carries almost every variety of Kikkoman sauce except the gluten free teriyaki sauce. Good thing I know which store carries it, we will need it next weekend. We’ve invited a few friends for dinner, Drew is making duck, and he’ll use the teriyaki to baste it,
I need to decide which appetizer I plan to make. Drew bought a cookbook in Williamsburg, and it has lots of interesting recipes…
Can you request the gluten free sauce from the store you usually frequent? Some will order things for you.
ReplyDeleteThere are a lot of things I can’t get there but can get at the other store. Both are relatively close.
DeleteOh, I well know the panic when running low on food and litter!
ReplyDeleteI’m sure!
