 And Marie wants songs about the New Year.

Well, as it turns out, I have a great playlist for New Year's Eve.

Shall we start with Johnny Mathis?  I believe he has a question to ask us.

Some romantic thoughts from Bing Crosby:

Some cheer from Abba:

After the year we've had, Barry Manilow puts it all into perspective.

And we close it out with a classic from Rod Stewart.

  1. Robin,

    I responded on my site but here is where you'll find the 2021 4M Themes. I'm co-hosting next month, then you're up in February. Did you send your themes yet? I didn't see an email from you. Maybe you haven't but I thought I'd better ask. :)

    Johnny Mathis voice is smooth as silk! I can't believe I haven't heard the Bing Crosby "Let's Start New Year" before now. I like that ended with a modern version of "Auld Lang Syne". Rod does a lovely job on the old classic. Thanks for sharing the dance floor with me, darlin'! I'm happy to soon say goodbye to 2020 and ready to welcome in the new year. May the Lord bless you throughout 2021, my dear! {hugs}

  2. I don't think I ever heard that Bing Crosby song, either and I just loved the vintage Coca Cola ads and World War II era photos. That song had perfect lyrics for ushering in 2021. Our hopes are all high as kites! Nice hearing Barry's mellow voice and Rod did a nice job on Auld Lang Syne. Happy New Year and "See" you in 2021. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
