Music Monday

And the theme I chose for today --

In honor of my daughter, whose birthday is in November, make a playlist from singers/musicians who were born in November.

Let's get it started with someone my daughter used to love, Miley Cyrus

As a mom I spent many hours watching the Toy Story movies, so I had to include this one.

Now some music for me.

Tina Turner.

Eddie Rabbitt

Glenn Frey

And Joe Walsh

Bonus hit from a performer born in June:

  1. Robin,

Glen Fry "You Belong To The City" always makes me think of 80s TV show "Miami Vice". The 80s was a great time for the entertainment industry - mewsic, movies, and TV was top notch! Great theme for this week, my dear! Have a boogietastic week!! ;)

  2. Great songs. We picked three of the same artists but different songs. That is pretty cool. Nice playlist.

  3. When I saw Miley Cyrus, I said "ugh" (sorry) but you know what, I liked your song pick. The other songs - I came so close to picking Tina Turner and just thinking of her made this song an earworm - so now I'm enjoying the real song. Overall, a nice playlist for a November birthday person. Especially Paul McCartney. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com

I personally love Tina Turner. The rendition of "You've got a friend in me" is awesome. Sorry not a big fan of Miley Cyrus, and Glen Fry's You belong in the City. He's got a great voice.. being in the Eagles helped a whole lot too being their drummer. Joe Walsh always a favorite. Hubby took me to see him when he stopped in our City. What a show!!! All I can say is WOW! PAUL MC CARTNEY WOW! THANK YOU... hehehe My birthday is in June too! GREAT JOB MY FRIEND AND AGAIN I DO SO APOLOGIZE IT WON'T HAPPEN AGAIN! BIG HUGS.....

  7. Thankfully, there are literally dozens of easy guitar songs to choose from and with a little determination even the most novice guitar players can find one that suits their abilities as well as their taste in music. Guitar cover songs
