Music Monday

This week we can choose our own theme.

I think I'll go to to the movies. Want to come along?

From Camelot, in honor of the new month:

How music created a pivotal scene in my favorite movie, Casablanca:

Music can set the tone for the entire movie:

No one could swagger like Travolta, KWIM?

Some of the most memorable movie moments involve song:

  1. Songbird,

That scene in Casablanca always gives me the goosies - just love it! Those patriots weren't going to be bullied in their country, even if they were just passersby waiting for transit home. I love the 'Ghost' scene. It always makes me tear up. I can't imagine life without DH so this really gets to me. Thanks for joining the 4M gang on the dance floor. Have a boogietastic week!

  3. Hi, I loved your movie-themed music post. The latest version of "A Star is Born" is such a fabulous movie and I love Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga's on-screen chemistry. Amazing! I saw the second one with Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson back when it came out. I haven't yet seen the original though. Have you?

I LOVE the Bee Gees and that whole "Saturday Night Fever" madness was so much fun!

Using Unchained Melody in "Ghost" was a brilliant decision. That is such a memorable part of the movie.

And that "Casablanca" scene was fabulous. It reminded me that it's time to re-watch that movie. Maybe this weekend even...

Great post. Have a good weekend. Hope it's full of great movies and lots of popcorn!

  4. You reminded me of how long it has been since I've seen Casablanca - or Camelot, for that matter. I've been reminded recently of a lot of things I haven't done in a long time. Thank you for the memories. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
