Ramblings
Drew went to see his sister in the hospital. She’s got some serious issues. She’ll be moving to a rehab facility soon.
My backyard neighbor:
Since the pool is gone we can really see what’s happening in the yard. I’m so glad that the pool is gone.
Since the pool is gone, we are able to fully enjoy the yard. We used the grill the other night. Remember last year, the saga of buying a new grill? So nice that we didn’t have an ordeal this year,
I think I’m going to start bringing my yoga mat outside occasionally, now that we have a nice patio and lawn. I’ve seen yoga classes at the beach. I would have loved to take a beach yoga class, but the classes weren’t offered at a time I could get there. But since the pool is gone, I can do yoga in my own yard.
Speaking of pools … I’ve got my pass for the community pools. The pools open later this month. There’s one here in my neighborhood, I can walk to the pool.
Drew says I’m a bit obsessed with exercise lately, and I suppose he’s right. I’m enjoying my walks and my yoga class, and I’m looking forward to swimming this summer.
Because I’ve seen far too many of my friends lose their mobility, lose their independence, and become old before their time.
And that’s not what I want for myself.
