Music Monday
Sigh … we were supposed to see Tommy James in concert Saturday night, but the concert has been postponed until April. Not the first time in recent memory that he’s had to postpone a show, it’s not a surprise that he postponed this time. We saw him at Jones Beach many years ago, and at Westbury Music Fair about 15 years ago. Really want to see him again.
Sigh … the waiting is the hardest part,
So I’ll just have to content myself with videos.
April's a long way off. Hope he's okay.
ReplyDeleteI could listen to Tommy James over and over. Especially Crimson and Clover but I love all of these songs. I also looked up the cancellations. Exhaustion? Hard to breathe? I really hope he's OK. We've had too many Rock and Roll Heaven inductions recently.
ReplyDeleteI love Tommy James, Crimson and Clover in particular! Thanks for the concert. ☺ It sure is frustrating when a concert gets postponed. When COVID came along, we had to wait two years for the make up shows.
ReplyDeleteI know. I had tickets for Billy Joel and Rod Stewart during Covid …
DeleteFabulous oldie band! Thanks for sharing awesome music from yesterday. Have a boogietastic week, Robin! xo
ReplyDeleteThey're the best. We in Chicago loved them. They were from Niles, Michigan, which is close enough that they would come on the weekends when they were just coming up. Of course I was too young to go see them, but not too young to buy their 45's.
ReplyDeleteOMG...that hair of his! Lol. Love the music especially Crimson and Clover but also, hanky panky
ReplyDeleteOh man! I hope they don't postpone again and that you get to see them. "Hurry up and wait" is not my favorite thing. Love the songs! Thanks for the dance!
