More this and that

 You’ve heard of a “bad hair day”, but how about a “bad tail day”?  I looked out the window and there was a furry fiend helping himself to the goodies in my bird feeder, his tail literally flying in the breeze.  Want to see? (My skill as videographer isn’t great, but …)

Both cats love sitting in the living room and watching the birds fly by on the way to the feeder.

I may have misspoke about graduation signs in Hicksville.  I saw two 5th grade graduation signs on a recent walk, though I wasn’t sure if the students attend public school or the local Catholic school. I’ll just have to wait and see if more signs pop up.

But look what else is popping up in Hicksville.

They were placed by a local politician, a county legislator whose district encompasses part of Hicksville. She distributed the flags in honor of Memorial Day. 

The Mets are in Boston this week, with Ron Darling and Keith Hernandez in the broadcast booth.  Expect a lot of reminiscing about the 1986 World Series.
