This and that

 We’re still cleaning up from the weekend festivities.  Should have the house completely back in order later today.

Funny how holidays affect us.  My sister told me she felt our mother’s presence when she was in the supermarket shopping for Passover.  I told her that when we read the Haggadah I hear our father’s voice in my head. 

Anyone care for a glass of wine?  I have a lot of wine left over from the holiday.

And we will be eating leftovers for awhile, too.

Both cats are a bit nutsy today.  I guess the house was too “peopley” all weekend.  

The sun came out today!  So happy!  I’m sick of wet, raw, miserable weather. Bring on spring!

I had to refill the bird feeder, so I know they’ve been here.  But I’m not really seeing many feathered visitors out back.  I have seen more than a few on our front lawn, though.  Maybe when the weather warms up and I spend time outside I’ll see more birds in the back yard. 

When I was filling the bird feeder, a plane flew over the house.  It was so low that I suspect any passengers looking out the window would have been able to see me.  Or at least make out my bright pink hoodie. 

We will be on a plane soon.  Headed to our friends who live in Florida.  We’re leaving from JFK and coming home through La Guardia.  A friend will drive us to the airport and Jen will pick us up.  Jen is also going to cat sit.  

If I thought the cats were a bit clingy today … well, when we come back from Florida … I think Shadow will Velcro herself to my lap …
