Happy Anniversary
Her name is Duchess, and she's been a member of our family for 6 years.
She found her forever home on 9/3/2013.
She was adorable as a kitten.
She is a house cat, never outside.
Except when she goes to the vet. She can complain ...loudly!
She's grown into a beautiful cat.

Happy anniversary, Dutchess! I'm wondering about Dutchess, is this a shy cat? My aunt (the one I blogged about last week with two cats and a canary)'s her cats had totally different personalities- one was grey and one was black and white. The black and white cat was so friendly (and, truth be told, I do like cats). The grey one never warmed to me and would hide whenever I entered my aunt's apartment. Rarely came out, despite my aunt's encouragement. Similarly, my late best friend had a black and white cat and a grey cat for a few years - same thing! Coincidence, or something more? I'm curious. ReplyDeleteOur Duchess is somewhat aloof. She will favor you with her presence if she like you, and will deign to allow you to pet her if you meet with her approval.
ReplyDeleteShe looks kinda pissed in that first image of her as an adult.
ReplyDeleteShe can be very ...annoyed ....sometimes
