Today's post...Bon Jovi.  This 80's hair band hails from New Jersey.  I got to see them at Metlife Stadium, the first concert ever played in that venue.

When my daughter Jen was 8 or 9, she met a boy at day camp.  CJ was a cute little boy with blonde hair, and he had a crush on Jen... When Jen was in high school, she said to me "remember that boy CJ?  He's in a band now." The band was popular for a hot minute, and then CJ went on to be a songwriter and producer. I wonder if he remembers Jen?

I work in lower Manhattan, in the Financial District.  The neighborhood is often used for filming TV shows.  Last January I saw  them filming scenes for Manifest . After awhile, you get used to it.  You see the trailers parked on the street, the signs telling cast and crew where to find the set and where to find breakfast... Drew likes a TV show called FBI . I've never seen it... But last week there were signs all over the neighborhood:  no parking 9/27, FBI would be filming in the neighborhood. Well, they showed up with more trailers and more personnel than I've seen before.  It was like an invasion. They were filming background scenes on the two-block stretch of William Street from Maiden Lane to Pine Street, a sign on Maiden Lane  warned pedestrians that they might be on camera.  Since I bought my lunch at a restaurant on William Street and Cedar Street (right in the middle of the set), there's a remote possibility I made it ...

My first serious romance was in college. I thought it would last forever....until I gave back the ring. Still, I have many good memories of that time. And Queen was his favorite band.
