spring walk

 

So it was Saturday, the day after the vernal equinox, the first full day of spring.  A sunny day with the temperature hovering around 53°.  A great day for a walk. 

There’s a park, a small, unnamed municipal park.  Basically a strip of grass, about half a mile long, with a sidewalk running down the middle.  A strip mall at one end, a highway at the other, and people’s backyards on either side.  I first visited two years ago.

The  park is a bout a mile from my house, so before I could walk in the park I walked to the park.

And the signs of spring were obvious.
