Afternoon walk

 I did a two mile walk yesterday, headed into Hicksville.  

I saw two more graduation signs, one from Hicksville High School and one from Kellenberg, a Catholic prep school.  I guess it’s not as much of a thing in Hicksville as it is in Levittown l

There were birds.

I’m pretty sure the white one is a pigeon, the black one a common grackle.

And there were bunnies.

That law is gorgeous.  I’m jealous, my lawn … sigh.  But there are worse lawns in the neighborhood.

My neighbor’s flowers.  He planted this shrub so long ago he forgot what they are.

And we should all stop and smell the roses.
