Saturday 9: Bye Bye Bye (2000)

This song brings back memories.  One of the first concerts I took my daughters to was N*SYNC  at Nassau Coliseum, probably in 2002.  They would have been 11 and 9 at the time.  We sat behind the stage.  Both girls swear Joey Fautone winked at them.

This song was chosen because it's time to say goodbye to 2025.

1) In this song, a man predicts his lover will start an argument. Is there anyone in your life who can be quarrelsome?

Not quarrelsome…but my daughter Becca can be quite …forceful …when stating her opinion.

2) He says he's had it, he's checking out and signing off. Can you think of a time you were glad you walked away from something?

Funny you should ask this … I left my job last week and start a new job on Monday.  I liked the old job, I was there almost 6 years, started in March 2020.  I had to leave because that company is about to do lay offs.  But the place I where I worked in 2020…nope, not sorry I left …

3) This week's song was performed by the band NSYNC. The group was formed in Orlando, FL, which is world famous as home to Walt Disney World. Today there are 12 Disney theme parks located around the globe. Have you ever visited one of these Magic Kingdoms?

Yes, multiple times.  I raised two Disney Princesses, took them to Orlando … they’ve been to Disneyland Paris, I have not …

4) They made a celebrity appearance on The Simpsons. What's your all-time favorite cartoon show?

I’ll name two.  First a movie.

5) In 2000, the year "Bye Bye Bye" was popular, Brad Pitt was named People's Sexiest Man Alive. Are you crushing on anyone right now?

Not crushing on anyone …but you know I’m a huge Billy Joel fan …

6) What's the farthest from home you traveled in 2025?

We drove from Long Island, NY to Williamsburg, VA

7) What was the biggest purchase that you made in 2025?

Probably the treadmill.  

8) What was your favorite book of 2025?

I don’t have one.

9) What are you looking forward to most in 2026?

New job = new adventure.
