Another one bites the dust?

 So after Friday’s debacle…

Saturday night and we wanted to go out to eat.   Nothing fancy.  So I suggested one of our favorite local seafood places.  It started as a fish market several decades ago (in business since 1934), and then the owner’s wife started cooking … casual place, you order at the counter and find yourself a table, and they call your number when your food is ready. Food is served on paper plates.  Very casual.

So we got there and the place was closed.  Brown wrapping paper covering the windows, signs that read “closed for renovations”.

Oy.

There’s nothing on the  website.  Google says the place is temporarily closed. But they haven’t posted on Facebook since December, and the neighborhood Facebook group seems to think they’ve gone out of business.

There’s a steak restaurant just down the road.  Also a local business, also pretty casual.   So instead of fish …

And I loved the shirts the staff was wearing.  The back of the shirt read: OMG I KNOW THE OWNER TOO
