I remembered all the good things about America.
And for the first time in a long time, I felt...hope.
It’s all coming back to me now
So you should know that I am not a “shopper”. I live in shopping mall heaven — I’m ten minutes from the Broadway Mall, 15 from Roosevelt Field and 25 from Whitman Shoppes — but I seldom go to the mall. I prefer to shop on line. And when I do venture into a store, I usually know what I want and buy it as quickly as possible. I’m not one to browse through stores just to see what’s for sale. There’s a local chain, Baked By Melissa , that specializes in mini cupcakes. They’re primarily in Manhattan. A few years ago Becca introduced me to their product - delicate little cakes, exquisitely decorated, very tasty. I walk past their shop on 7th Avenue whenever we go to the theater. Well, last week I remembered that they used to have a second shop on 7th, right next to the original shop, but selling gluten-free versions of all their cupcakes. I'm also hopeful because my spouse actually switched to Fox to see the coverage after he was finished (we suspected they wouldn't even carry the speech but they did) and I wonder how many Fox viewers were swayed. Britt Hume gave the speech a good review! We know that they will try whatever they can to bring him down but I hope so badly that he is more than equal to whatever they can throw at him and Hunter. DeleteI pray that everyone who is registered to vote is able to vote and have their ballots counted. This 💩 with USPS is crazy. 🍊 just had to get his guy in as postmaster general so postal boxes and sorting machines could be removed to mess with the mail in voting. And 🍊 complains about mail in voting fraud when he is the one insuring there will be ballots that never get counted.
