now it's starting to get scary

Room mate hasn't come out of his room in days.  He hasn't gone to work in a week, we have no idea if he still has a job or what.  A mutual friend called but he wouldn't pick up the phone.He answers his emails, but his response are short and terse. 


This is not going to end well.
