More ramblings

 Black eye with concealer

And with glasses

I think I can go out in public now without scaring dogs and small children.

First day of work jitters.  Last night I spent half an hour trying to decide what to wear today.  Finally settled on a dress and boots.

Yeah, I am a bit nervous.  But I’ll be ok. I’ve done this before.  I’m hoping this job will be a good fit.  I really liked my last job, I hated leaving it, but I didn’t have a choice.

Our New Year’s Eve plans are set.  Game night at our house, with food and drinks and a champagne toast at midnight.  Going out for New Year’s doesn’t appeal anymore.

No plans for New Year’s Day.

Are you ready for the January doldrums?

  1. Have you decided what yarn you're going to spin to explain the black eye? You're not really going to tell them the truth, are you? ;)

  4. Hope you come to like this job as much as the last. No doldrums, my oldest son is coming to visit (just a few days unfortunately) next month. He lives in Rhode Island, so we don't get to see him much. We used to see him more often when I lived in CA, he would come to the area on business, but no business here in Southern Oregon!
