A change of decor
Halloween is over, time to move on to the next occasion.
No, not Election Day. Pity my lease prohibits “signs” … though considering how many flags and signs I see for the other side … maybe posting my politics on my lawn isn’t such a good idea.
So let’s move on to the next holiday.
On my first post-Halloween walk and I find ….
Guess I’m not the only one.
But I also spotted something weird, a late addition to my neighbor’s Halloween display
I didn’t see anything else like it in the neighborhood…
But soon it will all be gone. I’m sure many of my neighbors will start putting up Thanksgiving decor. And many will skip Thanksgiving and go straight to Christmas. Three of my neighbors had Christmas lights up yesterday.
Should be interesting.
That's some cool Helloween stuff, Songbirdie, we especially like effurrything with cats...wonder why😸😸Double Pawkisses for a Happy Weekend🐾😽💞
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised Thanksgiving hasn't been totally swallowed up (no pun intended) yet. My local Wegmans is already decorated with a wreath on the outside and started selling Christmas cards more than a week ago. But now I'm in the mood for turkey and my homemade cranberry sauce.
ReplyDeleteThey've already started practicing Christmas carols in the choir classes. Well, even before Halloween. But, they are teens and they have a packed performance season, so that stands to reason. (I did a choir class last week.)
ReplyDeleteWow! I'm surprised to see that eye! A friend sent me a video of one seen in WA state, and I'd never seen one before. Was your eye moving? No signs? Hmm... what about banners? Flags? They could have election info too. There's always bumper stickers. It might be best to lay low this year. It is in my neighborhood.
ReplyDeleteI’ve got a t shirt …
DeleteAnd no the eye was not moving
DeleteMost political signs are Trump Vance signs, are around here. Lot less then 2020.
