More ramblings

Poor little bird … yesterday morning Drew found a dead house finch on the patio.  I think it smashed into the sliding glass doors.  It didn’t look like the bird was killed … our cats are indoor cats, but my neighbor’s cat sometimes visits our yard, and I did see him earlier that day when I was filling the bird feeders, but I don’t think he caught the bird,   Still, it’s sad …

I hurt my back last week.  Nothing new, I’ve had back problems on and off for years.  Finally got to see the chiropractor yesterday …

The pain is making it hard to exercise. I went to the pool Saturday, and the buoyancy helped.  But walking … I did manage a short walk yesterday. I saw the white pigeon again.

Lots of air traffic as always,

The new house down the street is coming along slowly.

And the town is starting a major roadwork project in the neighborhood.  These. Ariel’s are at every intersection.

It’s August.  School ended in June and will resume in September.  So why am I still seeing graduation lawn  signs?

I’m going to try to walk again today.

  1. Some of those graduation lawn signs will be up for a while, I expect. I hope you feel better soon. Back pain is awful.

  2. Hope your back feels better by the time you read this. I'm glad the bird was dead, not just injured. School starts here later this month. I remember going back the day after Labor Day. Maybe there are more school holidays to account for.

  3. I hear you; I'm a fellow back pain sufferer. Going to the chiropractor tomorrow. Hope you are feeling better and able to walk some. Poor bird.
