Cruise part 4 — I love the nightlife
There’s so much to do on the ship at night! There’s a show in the main theater, a show in the ice rink (yes, the ice rink), and lots of music and dancing in various bars and other small venues.
Every night has a theme and dress code. First night was “resort casual”. Second night was “DressYour Best” a/k/a formal night. We had the excursion the third night, so we skipped the theme — 70’s night (we lived through the 70’s, we didn’t need to revisit the era). Fourth night was initially supposed to be Latin White Night, but about a week before the cruise they changed it to Halloween. And the last night was tropical night.
Here we are on formal night.
We even met the captain.
We saw every show in the main theater as well as the ice show.
The ship has a permanent cast of singers and dancers as well as a house band, but there are also headliners who travel from ship to ship.
Comedian Miguel Washington
The cast of Freeze Frame
Tap Factory is all about rhythm They dance to drumbeats. Acrobats are part of the act, too.
Comedian Rahn Hartman
And my favorite

Looks like you had a great time! Did you know about Halloween night ahead of time?
ReplyDeleteWe knew the themes in advance
DeleteLooks like a lot of fun, especially if the performers were good. I never would’ve expected to see a nice show on a cruise ship, but I’ve only been on cruises twice and they were both small ships.
ReplyDeleteLots to do on a cruise ship. It looks like you had a great time.
ReplyDeleteI’ve read all four posts and just want to say it looks like a grand time, thank you for sharing it.
