The Monkees had some excellent songs! Thanks for the concert. ☺ How sad that Mickey is the only one left, but it's cool that he performs wtih his sister now.
The Monkees TV series was fun and I loved their music. I was fortunate to see them in concert in the early 80s, along with some other oldie bands. That's a night I'll long remember! Thanks for sharing and joining the party, my friend. Have a boogietastic week!
I could listen to Daydream Believer over and over (I didn't but I did sing along with the song). The Monkees started out as sort of a joke but they were no joke. What a shame that there is one Monkee left. The musicians of my childhood are leaving us and each departure leaves us the poorer.
Despite the cartoonish name and the slapstick pre-teen comedy tv show, the Monkees put out some great music. Thanks for bringing them to the dance.
