They don’t cuddle, they don’t groom each other, but we often find them sitting in companionable silence …
I think they like having another of their kind around, even if they don't particularly like to be close. My cat now is an only cat, and she seems to be lost without Benny even months later. They never cuddled, never even got close to each other. It seems she misses another cat around. I don't want the Cat Distribution System to know I'm down a cat, I don't want another! Too much with the dog.
